I keep a journal for many reasons: to practice observing and appreciating the natural world, to process experiences and emotions, to record memories and thoughts, and to exercise mindfulness or creativity. I find poetry to be a great outlet in these practices. I have published a handful of pieces through Duke University's Eno Magazine. I am also working on an indpendent publication of collected works.
